What This Privacy Policy Covers

This policy covers how Nana Check Holdings Limited treats personal information that Nana Check collects and receives, including information related to your past use of our products and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Nana Check does not own or control, or to people that Nana Check does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and Use

Nana Check collects personal information when you register with Nana Check, when you use Nana Check products or services, when you visit Nana Check pages or the pages of certain of our partners, and when you enter promotions. Nana Check may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.

When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, occupation, industry, and personal interests. For some financial products and services we might also ask for your phone no., address, identity card number, and information about your assets. When you register with Nana Check and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

Nana Check automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, Nana Check cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request. If you use the Nana app, we will also request to collect and use your location data and device identifiers to provide a more personalized user experience, such as displaying nearby merchants offering product quotes or landmarks, as well as enabling third-party platforms to provide more relevant advertisements.

Nana Check uses information for the following general purposes: to customise the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

Disclosure of information

Nana Check does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

(1) We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Nana Check under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help Nana Check communicate with you about offers from Nana Check and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information, except to the extent required by law.

(2) We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

(3) We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Nana Check’s terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

(4) In response to a court order under HKSAR Law (Ordinance V, Section 58).

(5) We transfer information about you if Nana Check is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Nana Check will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

(6) Your account profile is disclosed in different levels according to your account’s privacy settings, and your username is also showed in certain parts of our app.

Nana Check uses cookies on our websites. Nana Check lets other companies that show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies’ use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to Nana Check’s cookies.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Nana Check may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your information we will notify you by posting a prominent notice on our pages.
